Discover the Magic of Hampton Children's Playhouse!

Are you in or around Bayside and looking for a fantastic place to bring your little ones? Join us for a special Open Day designed for families with children under 5 who want to explore our wonderful play space and learn more about becoming members.

What’s Happening:

  • Live entertainment to keep the little ones engaged and smiling 🎉

  • Balloon twisting and face painting for extra fun and creativity 🎈🎨

  • Snacks and refreshments provided to keep everyone energised 🍎

  • Plenty of time to explore our play areas and outdoor space 🧸

  • Meet other local families and chat with our team about membership options and private party hire 🎂

  • Families residing in Bayside and surrounding suburbs looking for a fun and welcoming space for them & their children during the week.

  • Parents and caregivers considering joining our community as members.

Important Details:

  • Parking: Please note that parking can be challenging, especially during busy times. We recommend arriving early or considering alternative transport options if possible. We're a short stroll from Hampton Train Station for both trains and buses.

Whether you’re new to the area or simply curious about what we offer, we’d love to meet you and your family.

This is a free event — just come along and enjoy!

Please note: While everyone is welcome, the goal of this Open Day is to showcase what we offer to those considering joining our Playhouse as members. Regular hours for members are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm and parents and carers are responsible for the supervision of their children while on the premises.

Got a kid who loves to bang on everything in sight? Join us for an interactive African Drumming session with the fantastic Kofi Kunkpe! This event is designed for young children and promises a lively and noisy adventure.

Mother's Day Craft Event

This Mother's Day, let's swap the traditional breakfast in bed for something a little less...crumby. Join us at Hampton Children's Playhouse on Saturday May 4th at 10.30am for a Craft Workshop that's all about celebrating love, creativity, and those who mean the world to us.

What's On The Craft Table?

  • Tote-ally Awesome Bags: Decorate a tote bag to treasure forever (perfect for hiding those emergency snacks!)

  • Special Mother's Day Cards: Craft a one-of-a-kind card that says "I love you" in the most colourful way.

Hosted by a super fun entertainer, this workshop is tailored for little hands and big hearts. It's the perfect way to create memorable keepsakes for whoever holds a dear place in their hearts, be it Mum, Dad, Grandparent, or Guardian.

Exciting news from the Hampton Children's Playhouse! We're inviting you and your little ones to a day filled with fluffy, feathery, and fantastic fun.

What's Happening?
We're thrilled to host the Myuna Farm petting zoo right here at the Playhouse! This special event will bring the charm of the countryside to our members, offering our little ones an unforgettable experience.

Some of our furry and feathered guests:

  • Chickens and Roosters with their cheerful chirps

  • Ducks and Geese waddling their way into your hearts

  • Rabbits and Guinea Pigs, the softest buddies you'll meet

  • Small Goats full of jumps and jollies

  • A wise old Turtle with stories to tell

  • Lambs, the fluffiest of them all

This event is for members only, so there is no charge to attend. However, we do need you to register for catering and planning purposes.
